K-Rock and Circle K International
Our Story
Our Cause
Circle K International at the University of California, Riverside will be hosting its largest scale fundraiser of the year, the Kids Rock Concert. For the past 10 years, our organization has prepared a concert with both locally and online famous performers. Our proceeds have and continue to go to the Pediatric Trauma Program, PTP, at our local Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital. From live performances, games, silent auctions, prizes, and food/drinks, we hope you decide to join us to celebrate 10 years of our history and continuous support for PTP.
Pediatric Trauma remains the leading cause of death and injury for children ages 14 and under in the United States. The Pediatric Trauma Program, PTP, serves to educate parents and children about preventing accidental injury and funds the training of pediatric doctors, nurses, and first responders to treat children that have been injured.
What is Circle K International?
Circle K International is the world’s largest collegiate community service organization with three main tenets: service, leadership, and fellowship. Along with bettering our community through volunteer work, we also help raise funds to support non-profit causes. For example, how K-Rock is supporting the Pediatric Trauma Program
